After qualifying from The University of Pretoria in 2001, years were spent practicing in the UK, followed by co-owning a dental practice in Gauteng. She got married and moved to Jeffrey’s Bay where her main focus for 12 years was facial Aesthetics. She now lives in Stellenbosch and has recently taken over Dr. Dewald Cloete’s dental practice, which is a well established practice of over 30 years.
Her special interests include airway-centered dentistry, early interceptive orthodontics, facial development, and the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing. She is passionate about helping children and adults improve their overall health through better breathing and facial development which leads to better alignment of teeth. She loves to learn and with ongoing training, ensures to offer the most up-to-date treatments available to patients.
She started doing botox in 2006 in the UK and went to Ireland in 2023 for training with Patrick McKeown to become a Buteyko Breathwork instructor. Buteyko is a functional breathing approach, and combining that with optimal facial growth is where form and function meet to create a body in harmony that supports airway health and overall well-being.

Airway-centered dentistry examines how breathing impacts dental and overall health. It focuses on mouth breathing, snoring, and sleep-disordered breathing. By improving airflow and jaw development, we help children and adults achieve better sleep and long-term wellness.
